The Kansas City Chiefs have signed free agent linebacker Otha Peters on Tuesday. The move brings another linebacker in to compete while Reggie Ragland is out with a knee injury.
Peters spent time with the Seattle Seahawks after signing as an undrafted free agent out of Lousiana-Lafayette in 2017. He was waived in September of 2017, and picked up by the Washington Redskins. He spent time on Washington’s practice squad before being elevated to active roster in December of 2017. He has 3 total tackles in his 3 career starts. During his final season for the Ragin’ Cajuns, Peters had 94 tackles, 11 of them for a loss, and was named first team All Sun Belt in 2016.
