The Kansas City Chiefs got down to business on Monday afternoon, signing four of their nine draft picks from the 2015 class, according to Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star. General manager John Dorsey came to terms with second-round selection Mitch Morse, along with third-day draftees Ramik Wilson, D.J. Alexander and Rakeem Nunez-Roches.
These signings are just ahead of the team’s rookie minicamp, which runs May 16-18.
Unlike the years before the NFL instituted a rookie wage scale, it is easy to get rookie contracts out of the way. While the exact terms are not official yet, we can conclude judging by last year’s numbers that the quartet are likely looking at a tad over $2 million on the cap next year.
