Per the NFL’s latest transaction report, the Kansas City Chiefs have decided to terminate the contract of defensive end Cameron Malveaux. Terez Paylor of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Chiefs did so to clear room for cornerback Chris Lammons.
Malveaux had been a member of the team’s practice squad since they signed him in early September, shortly after the active rosters were due post-training camp.
Malveaux is a big body at defensive end at 6’6 and 265 lbs. who first entered the National Football League back in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Houston.
