The Kansas City Chiefs allowed the recent NFL Supplemental Draft to come and go without taking any prospects with an official draft selection. The lack of a move was a bit surprising considering how the prospects seemed to line up quite well with potential needs, and many draft analysts thought the Chiefs might make a move for cornerback Sam Beal or defensive back Adonis Alexander.
Instead, the Chiefs decided to let other teams draft those players in the name of keeping all of their 2019 NFL Draft picks in hand, a haul that includes an extra second round choice from the Marcus Peters deal.
