Patrick Mahomes is dominating headlines after he threw for a franchise single-game tying high six touchdown passes against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Sunday’s 42-37 win to help the team improve to 2-0. Mahomes’ 10 touchdown passes in the first two games is an NFL record, surpassing Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Charley Johnson, all who threw for nine touchdown passes in the first two games of an NFL season.
Kansas City’s offense is the highest scoring in the league right now. A big part of that is due to the improvement of the offense in the red zone.
