The Kansas City Chiefs have officially re-signed veteran defensive lineman Mike Purcell, a familiar face who has been with the team for most of the last calendar year, per Field Yates.
Earlier this week, the Chiefs cleared a roster spot with the release of undrafted rookie Elijah Marks, a talented wide receiver who earned interest from several teams coming out of Northern Arizona. The Chiefs signed Marks immediately after the draft, but dropped him this week, and many fans wondered what the corresponding roster move might be—with hopes that perhaps free agent Bashaud Breeland might be the catch.
