The Kansas City Chiefs finished the 2014 season 10th in the NFL averaging just shy of 120 yards per game and ended the year scoring the third highest total of touchdowns running the ball with 18. Much of the load was cast upon Jamaal Charles once again as for the fifth time in his career he rushed for more than 1,000 yards in a season. With high hopes in 2015 to return to the playoffs after nearly missing them a year ago, the Chiefs will rely on their running game to open up the pass for QB Alex Smith and the newly revamped Chiefs’ receiving core.
