Kansas City Chiefs place Paul Fanaika on IR, which ends his season

Didn't see this coming. Paul Fanaika, who started at right tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs in two preseason games, has been placed on injured reserve. This means his season is over. The Chiefs re-signed LB Dezman Moses in his spot.

This is kind of weird. I didn't even realize Fanaika was hurt. He was signed to a three-year free agent this offseason but didn't really project as a starter. He played right tackle in the preseason when Jeff Allen and Eric Fisher were out.
