Kansas City Chiefs injury report: Anthony Hitchens sits out with bruised ribs

Injuries are piling up for the Kansas City Chiefs, something that is expected but never welcomed as teams prepare for the bottom half of the regular season.

Several key players were nonparticipants in practice on Wednesday for K.C., some of which haven’t practiced for several weeks.

Those who are not practicing today are center Mitch Morse, safety Eric Berry, linebacker Anthony Hitchens, linebacker Justin Houston, and linebacker Frank Zombo. Perhaps the most alarming name on the injury report is Hitchens, who leads the Chiefs in tackles by a large margin.

Hitchens left the game against the Denver Broncos in Week 8 with a rib injury.
