On Thursday, NFL.com released it’s All-AFC West team. While this is nothing more than a projection for the 2015 (and a reflection on years past) it can provide for some fun back and forth.
In his piece, Dave Dameshek listed a quarterback, running back, three receivers, a tight end and the five line positions on offense. On defense, there Dameshek used a 3-4 alignment with a typical secondary and special teams players.
Of the 25 possible spots, the Kansas City Chiefs claimed eight, with the Denver Broncos getting nine. The San Diego Chargers factored in with six while the Oakland Raiders rounded out the proceedings with two.
