Kansas City Chiefs claim Ike Boettger on waivers from Buffalo Bills

The Kansas City Chiefs have added some unexpected competition to the offensive line with the addition of Ike Boettger off of waivers from the Buffalo Bills, per Matt Derrick.

Boettger has the large stature at 6’6, 313 lbs. but went undrafted in this year’s NFL Draft, and signed with the Bills with a standard priority free agent deal after the weekend. Boettger comes from Iowa, which has developed its fair share of solid offensive linemen over the years.

The file on Boettger has to go back to 2016 and earlier because he missed most of his senior season at Iowa due to an Achilles injury.
