The Kansas City Chiefs cut two players and signed one shortly before the start of Tuesday's minicamp which left them with one open roster spot. Per the NFL's daily transactions report, the Chiefs have filled that spot with guard Marcus Reed.
Reed was claimed off waivers after he was cut by the Green Bay Packers earlier this week. It was Green Bay who signed Reed as an undrafted free agent after the 2015 NFL Draft in May.
Reed is a big man listed at 6'5 and 350 pounds. He went to school at Fayetteville State where he started 17 games over two seasons.
