The Kansas City Chiefs will get a chance to see a bit more of rookie free agent cornerback Dakari Monroe after he came back to the team after joining them for rookie minicamp earlier this month. Monroe will fill the roster spot opened by the retirement of veteran linebacker Martrell Spaight.
The Chiefs initially released Monroe earlier this month in a series of moves that brought in new competitors in the secondary from Florida Atlantic: Herb Miller and Andrew Soroh. Monroe will now get a second chance to show the Chiefs staff what he can do after an initial weekend with the team that clearly left them on the fence.
