The stage has been set for another Mexico City showdown for the Kansas City Chiefs. This time, they might even play there.
One year after an embarrassing stadium situation that left the Los Angeles Rams unable to “host” the Chiefs in primetime in Mexico City, the NFL is insisting on another attempt to play south of the border. This time, another L.A.-based team, the Chargers, will be the opponent for the Chiefs.
On Wednesday, K.C. officially announced the AFC West rivals will play on November 18. The full NFL calendar has yet to be revealed, but primetime games and other highly-anticipated games are expected to leak throughout the day.
