The Kansas City Chiefs have broken their silence on the transaction wire by signing cornerback Antonio Hamilton, per Terez Paylor of Yahoo! Sports.
Hamilton, who turned 27 years old in January, first entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent as a small school project from South Carolina State. The Oakland Raiders were the first team to give him a chance and he worked his way onto the active roster for four games in his first year and eight games in his second season. Since then, he’s earned an even larger role for the New York Giants in each of the last two seasons.
