It's official: Justin Houston will NOT play in the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. Neither will C Mitch Morse, WR De'Anthony Thomas or S Husain Abdullah.
The knee injury Houston suffered last week against the Buffalo Bills will keep him out. Chiefs trainer Rick Burkholder said earlier this week that Houston had suffered a hyperextended knee. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said that Houston had made improvements earlier in the week but apparently not enough to have him available for the game.
