Justin Houston left the Chiefs' game against Buffalo on Sunday with a knee injury. His return was questionable.
Houston was injured during the first quarter, when he appeared to be leg-whipped accidentally by safety Ron Parker.
With Dee Ford out because of a lingering back injury, Frank Zombo entered the game in Houston's place. Zombo entered the game with two tackles and no sacks.
Entering the game, Houston led the Chiefs in sacks with 7 1/2.
