After an entire preseason of the Kansas City Chiefs evaluating their wide receivers, the team decided to turn to an external option — but a familiar face — to round out the room.
On Monday, the Chiefs signed wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and immediately had him at practice. That comes just over two weeks after the New England Patriots released Smith-Schuster, who signed there on a three-year deal in 2023 after winning Super Bowl LVII with the Chiefs.
The one year he spent in Kansas City was special, from the memories to his role in the scheme.
