John Dorsey on ballot for College Football Hall of Fame

These days, John Dorsey is known as one of the finest general managers in the NFL, as the Kansas City Chiefs have become a stable winning franchise in the four years under his leadership in the front office. Yet what you might not realize is that Dorsey was also a helluva college football player, and his career could potentially be celebrated with an induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Dorsey, a University of Connecticut graduate, was an All-American linebacker for the Huskies and was eventually selected in the fourth round of the 1984 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, the same team he would later serve for several years as a scout and personnel executive.
