The Chiefs will be without wide receiver Jeremy Maclin and defensive end Jaye Howard for Sunday’s game against the Panthers.
Maclin is recovering from a groin injury and Howard suffered a hip injury in last week’s game against the Jaguars.
It’s the second game Maclin has missed since joining the Chiefs last year. Howard hadn’t missed a game for the Chiefs since 2013, his first year with the organization.
Also inactive for the Chiefs: cornerback D.J. White, outside linebacker Justin Houston, quarterback Tyler Bray, running back Bishop Sankey and offensive lineman Mike Person.
Inactive for Carolina: linebacker Shaq Thompson, center Ryan Kalik, tackle Michael Oher, safety Colin Jones, defensive tackle Kyle Love and tight end Chris Manhertz.
