Jarvis Jenkins will be returning to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018.
The announced re-signing of one of the Chiefs’ rotational pieces along the defensive line is good news for a team that was looking very thin up front (and remain in need of some outside help).
While Jenkins might not be the starting option he was projected to be when the Washington Redskins first drafted him in the second round in 2011, Jenkins has turned into a valuable part-time player for the Chiefs over the last season-and-a-half, having come over midway through the 2016 season from the New York Jets.
