Chiefs long snapper James Winchester didn’t mind getting involved in a little offseason player recruitment Wednesday.
Pro Football Talk’s Charean Williams wrote that the Jacksonville Jaguars are unlikely to re-sign cornerback Aaron Colvin, which will make him a free agent.
Winchester liked hearing this news.
Winchester and Colvin played together at the University of Oklahoma from 2010 to 2012. Colvin has 14 passes defensed over 48 games and 25 starts in his four-year NFL career.
Finally, some positive cornerback news.
