Jamaal Charles celebrates injury anniversary by full participation in practice

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- This week brought an anniversary of sorts for running back Jamaal Charles. It was last year on Oct. 11 that the course of Charles' career was altered when he tore the ACL in his right knee in a game against the Chicago Bears.

Charles celebrated on Wednesday by being a full practice participant for the Kansas City Chiefs for the first time this year. The Chiefs also plan for Charles to play more on Sunday against the Raiders in Oakland than he did in their most recent game against the Steelers, when he took just a handful of snaps and was given the ball twice

Charles was in good spirits knowing what's behind him but also what lies immediately ahead.
