Although Jackson County taxpayers had the chance to purchase Kansas City Chiefs playoff tickets for a possible home game Wednesday, there wasn’t a rush for the pre-sale.
By the time the ticket windows opened at 10 a.m., there was about two dozen fans. There were so few fans, the Chiefs brought those who arrived early in from the cold and let them warm themselves in a hallway adjacent to the ticket office at Arrowhead Stadium.
Jackson County taxpayers got the first crack at the tickets by showing an ID and a 2014 property tax receipt. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday.
