The Kansas City Chiefs are expecting a lot from 2024’s first-round draft pick Xavier Worthy — but so far, we have seen little of what the speedy Texas wideout could do with quarterback Patrick Mahomes. A hamstring injury caused the team to keep him out of most of the offseason OTA and mandatory minicamp practices.
But according to head coach Andy Reid, Worthy’s time is coming.
“We’ll ease him in,” he told reporters as his rookies and quarterbacks reported to Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph on Tuesday. “You know, we’re not going to just give him every rep.
