Injury bug bites Chiefs again, with two more players moved to injured reserve

The Chiefs’ offensive line took another hit Tuesday.

Center Jordan Devey was moved to the injured reserve list in a surprise announcement by the team.

Devey sustained a pectoral muscle injury, according to the team. He started Sunday’s win against the Cincinnati Bengals in place of regular starting center Mitch Morse (concussion). Devey wasn’t mentioned in coach Andy Reid’s injury report after the game.

Devey is the third KC offensive lineman to suffer a serious injury in as many weeks. Right guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif was placed on injured reserve after fracturing his fibula and sustaining injuries to his ankle ligaments against Jacksonville.
