On Saturday, the AFC West champion Kansas City Chiefs will host the Miami Dolphins for a Wild Card playoff game on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
These two teams have met for three postseason contests since the AFL and NFL merged in 1970. Miami has won all three of these matchups — starting with 1971’s famous double-overtime Christmas Day playoff game, which is still the longest in NFL history. This will be the first time since then that the Chiefs have hosted the Dolphins for a playoff contest.
Both teams come into the matchup with 11-6 records.
