Houston, K-Pass inactive for Chiefs-Patriots ... but check out Mahomes’ sparkly shoes!

The Chiefs’ depth at outside linebacker will be seriously tested Sunday night against the New England Patriots.

Both Justin Houston (hamstring) and Tanoh Kpassagnon (ankle) are inactive, giving rookie Breeland Speaks his first career start. Frank Zombo, who re-signed with the team earlier this week, and Nate Orchard, who signed on Wednesday, are active and will likely see a healthy amount of game action.

The safety position also took a hit with Eric Murray and Eric Berry inactive. Jordan Lucas will get his first career start in their absence. With the lack of depth, wide receiver Marcus Kemp could also end up playing emergency safety.
