Christian Okoye. The Nigerian Nightmare. The perfect blend of size and speed. As a 10-year-old kid, I was entranced watching this seeming superhuman athlete run over anyone and everyone. Like most of those who tried to tackle Okoye in those years, I was bowled over.
I’ve been a diehard Chiefs fan ever since first seeing Okoye in 1987. For the last 17 years, I’ve also been a freelance writer/editor, and for several years, I’ve been very happy to marry those passions and gifts as an Assignment Editor for SB Nation and a site editor for Arrowhead Pride.
