The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, 19-14, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, improving to 6-2 on the season.
Nick Foles, filling in for starter Alex Smith, finished 20 of 33 for 187 yards and a touchdown to help the Chiefs to a fourth-straight victory.
The Chiefs defense forced four turnovers, three on fumble recoveries including one in the end zone to halt a Jaguars fourth-quarter drive.
After a few scoreless possessions for both teams to start the game, the Chiefs garnered very good field position as a result of a forced fumble on a punt play.
