Chiefs wide receiver Fred Williams impressed a lot of people during Saturday’s 34-19 victory on the road against the Cardinals. Williams helped tie the game in the second quarter at 10 with 4:34 to go.
While many were surprised to see Williams be the best wide receiver for the Chiefs, head coach Andy Reid didn’t expect anything less from the former St. Cloud State standout.
“He’s had a good camp,” Reid said. “Freddie’s a good player. He’s a competitive guy. He’s a lot of fun to be around and plays hard.”
When Kansas City’s second-team offense entered the field for the first time in the game, Williams made an impact right away.
