The Kansas City Chiefs added another key performer to the secondary with the signing of Robert Golden, a former member of the Pittsburgh Steelers for the last six seasons.
Golden, who will turn 28-years-old this fall, entered the NFL with Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona and slowly climbed the depth chart from special teams leader to more of a role in the team’s defensive packages and even made seven starts in 2016 when the team suffered a few injuries in the secondary. Overall he has two interceptions and 7 passes defended in 12 career starts.
