NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah recently completed a conference call with the media to preview this year’s NFL Draft. NFL Network begins its first-round coverage featuring Jeremiah next Thursday, April 28 at 7 p.m. Arrowhead Time.
During the call, the former Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens scout was asked to look back upon the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2017 NFL Draft class, which was of course highlighted by the trade-up and selection of Patrick Mahomes.

Third round (86): RB Kareem Hunt
Fourth round (139): WR Jehu Chesson

“What I remember more than anything else is, dang, I was way off and way too low on Patrick Mahomes,” recalled Jeremiah.
