Former NFL wide receiver L’Damian Washington announced — via his Twitter account — that he has been selected as a Kansas City Chiefs’ Bill Walsh diversity coaching fellow for this offseason.

Washington, 30, who played college football at Missouri, spent time with the Chiefs and head coach Andy Reid in training camp in 2015 before being cut at the 53-man roster deadline.
