The Indianapolis Colts are trying to deal with a major injury to their offense for the stretch run as they try to stay afloat in the AFC South race. In the wake of losing tight end Eric Ebron, a familiar face to Kansas City Chiefs fans has resurfaced in the form of Ross Travis.
Colts beat writer Mike Chappell has word that the Colts have signed Travis to hold down Ebron’s spot on the roster. The Colts lost Ebron to injured reserve for the rest of the season after the team learned he needed surgery on both ankles after dealing with pain for the last few weeks—going back to Week 9.
