The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking a closer look at some veteran help at the tight end position by working out Jace Amaro who spent the offseason with the Kansas City Chiefs before getting cut after the preseason wrapped up.
Amaro always comes pre-packaged in his descriptions as a former second round selection of the New York Jets, a sign that he will never escape the shadow of such a large investment being made in him as a player (for comparison, Travis Kelce was a third round pick). He’s spent time with the Tennessee Titans and Chiefs after being released by the Jets in 2016 but has failed to hit the field since his days with the Jets.
