The Pro Football Hall of Fame might be electing two new members of the Kansas City Chiefs next year when the final votes are counted. Not only is Tony Gonzalez a first-ballot contender among recently retired players but the senior committee named former Chiefs safety Johnny Robinson as their only finalist.
Robinson suited up for the Chiefs in their earliest days (and even before) as the franchise shifted from the Dallas Texans to Kansa City Chiefs. He played 12 full seasons from 1960-71 but only 10 of them as a safety, the very position at which he could be enshrined.
