How exactly does a burglar pawn or create cash on a ring that’s so one-of-a-kind that there’s not a single other piece like it in the world because it’s marked with the name and likeness of its owner? That has to be the issue facing whoever it was who stole Will Shields’ Pro Football Hall of Fame ring while he and his family were in Colorado.
Per the Kansas City Star, Shields says his ring was stolen “earlier this week” and a police report has been filed. Hopefully the invaluable ring will surface.
“It’s frustrating but my family is fine and safe, and that is what’s most important,” Shields said.
