The Chicago Bears will be down a man along the offensive line this year with the news that former Kansas City Chiefs center Eric Kush will have to miss the entire 2017 season after surgery to repair a torn hamstring.
Bears guard Eric Kush out for the year with a torn hamstring. Will have surgery.
Kush entered the NFL as one of former general manager John Dorsey’s first draft picks, a sixth round flyer taken on a small school lineman. Kush attended California University of Pennsylvania (their mascot is the Vulcan), whose most famous NFL alumni is, maybe, Erik Harris (honestly it’s not an impressive list).
