Former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Ramik Wilson has finally found a new home for the 2019 season, at least for a bit, in his hopes to stretch his professional football career to a fifth season. NFL reporter Mike Garafolo has word that the Arizona Cardinals have reached an agreement with Wilson on Wednesday.
Wilson looked like he might break training camp with the Jacksonville Jaguars this summer, but he failed to make the team’s final active roster in September (which would have been interesting given that the Chiefs played the Jags in Week 1). Instead, Wilson was forced to sit after playing all 16 games last year (including four starts) for the Los Angeles Rams.
