A couple of former Kansas City Chiefs who were released during preseason roster cuts on Saturday received a second chance to make an impression with the New York Jets this week.
Aaron Wilson is reporting that the Jets worked out a total of six players on Wednesday, including a pair of familiar faces in cornerback Herb Miller and offensive lineman Dino Boyd. Both Miller and Boyd showed up strong for the Chiefs at various points in the preseason.
For Miller, his inconsistencies in Chiefs practices and games negated the big plays he also seemed to make at various points.
