Former Chiefs defensive lineman Allen Bailey signs with Atlanta Falcons

According to Adam Schefter, one of the most intriguing free agents still available in the NFL finally found a place to land with word that defensive lineman Allen Bailey signed a two-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons.

Terms of the deal leaked thus far indicate that Bailey will make up to $10.5 million over the life of the deal but only $3.5 million of that is guaranteed for the former Kansas City Chiefs lineman.

Bailey enjoyed his eighth and final year with the Chiefs last season by setting a career-high total of 6 sacks, and the end was part of a larger unit that led the entire NFL in sacks—a group of players that included Justin Houston and Dee Ford.
