A quick look at the Minnesota Vikings roster would have you believe they’ve got cornerbacks to spare. The amount of talent collected at the position in the Twin Cities is quite a feat, but the current status of a few players actually has the Vikes kicking the tires on actually adding someone to the position. On Wednesday they worked out former Chiefs cornerback Orlando Scandrick.
Scandrick signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs last offseason and wasn’t given any opportunity to return this year. The year started with Scandrick as a preseason replacement for David Amerson, who was clearly a bad fit, but Scandrick failed to hold down an outside corner position after several games.
