Jalil Brown is heading to Boise State to coach the position he played for five seasons in the National Football League as the Broncos’ new cornerbacks coach.
Brown was originally a member of the Kansas City Chiefs for two full seasons after Scott Pioli selected him in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Brown was a defensive star at the University of Colorado. Pioli hoped Brown could learn from Brandon Flowers and Brandon Carr in a deep secondary while potentially taking over down the road as one or both players neared the end of their rookie deals.
