Former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Orlando Scandrick is spending the Labor Day weekend looking for a new home for the 2019 season, which begins in short order. The good news is that he’s procured a visit with the Houston Texans, who could use some help in the secondary.
NFL reporter Aaron Wilson stated Scandrick will spend Monday with the Texans as Bill O’Brien and company continue to remake the team before their opening game against the New Orleans Saints.
Scandrick was a one-year rental with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018, much like Morris Claiborne or Bashaud Breeland for this year’s pass defense.
