The Kansas City Chiefs promoted running back Akeem Hunt to the active roster on Sept. 16, and since then, the third-year tailback has averaged over 35 yards on three kickoff returns.

Hunt entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2015
The New York Giants signed Hunt following the 2015 Draft, but he was waived prior to the beginning of the regular season. He spent some time on the Baltimore Raven’s practice squad in October before signing with Houston a few weeks later.
