Leon McQuay III is a standout safety from USC.

The Kansas City Chiefs drafted Leon McQuay III with their final pick of the 2017 NFL Draft—the 218th overall pick and the final compensatory selection of the sixth round.

McQuay’s best year of his USC career came in his senior season, in which he earned All-Pac-12 honors.

McQuay III had 50 tackles, two interceptions and six pass breakups.


According to Pro Football Focus, McQuay had the eight-highest coverage grade in the FCS last season.
