The Tennessee Titans selected Sankey with the No. 54 pick in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. From 2014-2015 in 29 games with the Titans, Sankey compiled 199 rush attempts for 762 yards (3.8 ypa) and three touchdowns. He also had 32 receptions for 272 yards receiving.
The Titans released Sankey as part of final roster cuts in 2016, and the New England Patriots signed him to their practice squad.
