Sunday’s Divisional round matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills was expected to be a great battle between two of the best teams in football. In a game that some felt could not possibly match the hype, the two teams managed to deliver a game that exceeded all expectations as the Chiefs defeated the Bills 42-36 in overtime to advance to the AFC Championship for the fourth consecutive season.
The Chiefs won the coin toss and deferred. Buffalo started their first possession at their own 29 after a return by Isaiah McKenzie.
