Even at 3-5, Panthers pose many problems for Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The 6-2 Kansas City Chiefs figure to get one of their toughest tests in the last month Sunday when they face the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte.

The Panthers are 3-5 but have won two straight games. Carolina is strong up front defensively and allows a league-best 3.3 yards per rushing attempt. Jacksonville quarterback Blake Bortles was a problem for the Chiefs last week with his scrambling and they will see another mobile quarterback Sunday in Cam Newton.
